Singapore, 15 November 2019 – The AFC U23 Championship 2020 has secured MYKOLOR, a key brand under leading decorative paint company 4 Oranges, as its exclusive paint sponsor. This partnership was brokered by Lagardère Sports, the exclusive commercial partner of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).

As an Official Supporter, MYKOLOR will get opportunities for brand exposure in South East Asia through multiple touchpoints. The brand will be featured on stadium advertising boards and official tournament collaterals. It will also acquire tournament image rights and enjoy access to other marketing activities.

Taking place from 8 to 26 January 2020, the AFC U23 Championship 2020 boasts an exciting field of nations that will see the top three teams from the tournament qualify for the men’s football competition in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. The fourth-placed team will also have a chance to qualify if 2020 Olympics hosts Japan are among the top three teams in the continental championship.


About the AFC U23 Championship

The AFC U23 Championship is a biennial football championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men’s under-23 national teams of Asia.

In 2020, the 4th edition of the AFC U23 Championship will take place from 8 to 26 January, and will be played across four venues in three cities – Bangkok, Buriram and Songkhla. Asia’s top 16 teams will also be competing for places in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where the top three sides will join hosts Japan as Asia’s representatives in July.
