Paris, 17 October 2019 – Lagardère Plus, the global partnership marketing agency of Lagardère Sports and Entertainment, has supported client and French specialist insurance group AG2R LA MONDIALE in its commitment to cycling and its “Vivons Vélo for the Institut Pasteur” programme resulted in the presentation of a cheque for €100,000 on 12 October to the Department of Neuroscience at the Institut Pasteur to help finance medical research into neurodegenerative diseases.

AG2R LA MONDIALE has been a Lagardère Plus client since 2014 and the agency also supports the insurance company’s professional cycling partnerships and the organisation of the group’s “Vivons Vélo” public cycling events.

In 2019, to boost the Vivons Vélo community and encourage participants to cycle to raise money for the Institut Pasteur, Lagardère Plus has set up a number of specific actions for AG2R LA MONDIALE, including:

  • The logistical coordination of AG2R LA MONDIALE’s “Vivons Vélo” meetings with the French Cycle Tourism Federation, which take place 5 times a year in twenty cities across France simultaneously.
  • A daily travelling event structure for AG2R LA MONDIALE in the city stages of the Tour de France.
  • Active collaboration in creating and updating the Vivons Vélo app, used since 2014 by hundreds of thousands of cyclists throughout France.
