GROUPAMA Paris Val de Loire and AJ Auxerre are intensifying their partnership for two seasons.

Paris, 10 July 2019 – Lagardère Sports, a company of Lagardère Sports and Entertainment, has announced an extension to the partnership between Groupama Paris Val de Loire and AJ Auxerre until 2021. As the exclusive agency for AJ Auxerre, Lagardère Sports has played a pivotal role in brokering and managing the relationship between both organisations since the start of the 2010-2011 season.

Groupama, an insurance company with a strong presence in the football industry, has extended this partnership because of the success it has achieved in using football as an effective communications platform. As an official sponsor for a further two-year term, Groupama branding will be displayed on the back of the team’s jersey along with various display devices at the Abbé-Deschamps Stadium (LED, touch panel and training stadium) and continued naming rights to a stand at the stadium. Moreover, various events involving players will be organised throughout the year to motivate the fan community and Groupama clients. Finally, the partnership will see the launch of a “Escort Kids” campaign for the club.

This new partnership extension will also  see Groupama sponsoring two matches in order to:

  • Highlight their partnership with the Association Petits Princes, which grants the wishes of seriously ill children.
  • Honour the agricultural/winegrowing world, thus promoting these professions and their expertise at the Abbé-Deschamps stadium.
