Paris, 20 September 2019  Lagardère Sports, a Lagardère Sports and Entertainment company and Olympique Lyonnais’ exclusive agency , is proud to announce a new partnership between Deliveroo, an English start-up and leader in food delivery, and Olympique Lyonnais. The brand has signed a multi-year partnership with Olympique Lyonnais to become a major partner of the professional men’s and women’s football teams. Deliveroo will now appear on the back of men’s shirts in Ligue 1 and on the women’s shirt sleeves in D1 as well as in the group stages of Women’s Champions League. The brand will also benefit from great visibility inside the Groupama Stadium and Groupama OL Training Centre.

This association with the seven-time Ligue 1 champions for the men’s team, and 13 times D1 champion and six times Champions’ League winners for the women’s team will enable Deliveroo to continue strengthening its presence in France in addition to getting closer to the fans.

Lyon is the second largest city on the Deliveroo app after Paris. As such this new partnership between the Rhone-based club and the leader in food delivery was an obvious one. Today Deliveroo has nearly 800 restaurants and 900 delivery riders in the Lyon area and regularly sees orders peak during Olympique Lyonnais matches.
