Floirac, 3 October 2018 – Arkéa and the Bordeaux Arena have recently announced that they have officially signed a naming contract for 10 years. The new arena, which is one of the biggest in France, is the only one in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region capable of hosting the largest national and international events as well as musical and sporting events.

Unveiled in January and now called the Arkéa Arena, this multi-functional arena has so far welcomed more than 230,000 spectators across 43 public events, 15 of which sold out. In its first year in operation, the area will welcome more than 400,000 spectators.

Arkéa Arena is part of the regional delivery strategy rolled out by the Arkéa group, particularly in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. A leading employer in the region with more than 1,100 employees, Arkéa supports the development of many companies in the area. This partnership is an unprecedented opportunity for Arkéa to showcase its expertise, and the group is also strengthening its presence in Nouvelle-Aquitaine for its clients and in order to roll out their projects.

Arkéa Arena is a multi-functional amphitheatre which opened its doors on 24 January 2018.
